9. Group Project Postcards

2020 | Architectural Research and Object | Collaborators: Johnathan Brearley, Isadora Dannin, Kailin Jones, Emily Weissman

A series of participatory design postcards. Each postcard details an activity for members of GrowingChange, a youth-guided non-profit, to complete. The postcards are a way to collect information on design needs and wants from a young client without design experience. For the project, the postcards would be applied to the next phase of design.

The postcards were made as a project for Group Project. Group Project is an architectural design and planning collective that practices under the notion that architecture is a right. Over the past four years, they have collaborated with GrowingChange, a youth-guided nonprofit, to imagine the future of a decomissioned work-campus prison site in Wagram, NC as a farm, community center, and museum. The postcards below were designed by Jola Idowu.
